By Sea There are regular cross-channel sailings to French ports. Road routes from there to Alicante may be easily obtained from the AA or RAC. Ferries also sail to Santander and Bilbao, in north-west Spain. Travelling this way, a much shorter road journey to the villa is involved, although the ferry crossing is more expensive.
